Karen needs our help
Six months ago, Karen nearly died. She couldn’t breathe, had no feeling or movement from her neck down to her toes, couldn’t eat or talk, and was hooked up to machines. Her condition “arteriovenous malformation” is as rare and unique as Karen Witt herself. Of all the outcomes of this condition, quadriplegia is not the one she thought she’d be facing at this time. Karen wants to come home, but she will require long term care and life adjustments.
