During the month of November, everyone across Ontario is invited to show their COURAGE. Please participate in My Friend’s House Wrapped in “COURAGE” Campaign to show abused women and their children your support.
Wearing the colour purple in November signifies, “Together we can end violence against women”.
My Friend’s House wants you to join us and wear purple this November through the purchase of a COURAGE Mask.
This specially designed – purple COURAGE Mask is available on-line and in select stores for $15 each:
Grandma’s Beach Treats – 1-1014 Mosley St. Wasaga Beach (705-429-2243)
U-Pick Parties – 210 Hurontario St. Collingwood (705-445-8887)
Ashanti Coffee – 510 First St. Collingwood (705-293-3013)
These masks when worn by the community will show women and their children that they are not alone. The COURAGE of a woman alone is not enough.
Support My Friends’ House so that women have a safe place to go when they are in danger.
Purchase a COURAGE Mask from My Friend’s House and wear it with pride. Your support counts when it comes to the safety and well-being of abused women and their children living in your community.
My Friend’s House is working hard to keep our shelter open and maintain the level of services and programs needed. We are proud to help women and children move toward a life free from violence and abuse but we can’t do this alone. We need your help.
Every mask, every donation will help and every dollar counts. We are grateful for your support at this critical time.
