'Big Bang' star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting denies she had nose job

TORONTO — Actress Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting took to social media Monday to shoot down speculation she had a nose job.

The rumours were sparked by a Dec. 26 photo on Instagram showing the star, who plays Penny on The Big Bang Theory, in a hospital bed with a bandage under her nose. “Coming out of sinus surgery,” read the caption.

On Monday, Cuoco-Sweeting wrote: “For those haters out there who are gonna hate hate hate no matter what, let me inform you that I have not been able to breath (sic) through my nose like a normal human being in years.

“This surgery is changing my life. With that being said, if I DID get a nose job, (which I didn’t) I would be shouting that from the rooftops as well.”

Cuoco-Sweeting also used Instagram to thank her “amazing husband,” tennis pro Ryan Sweeting, for being at her side during her recovery.

“Sinus surgery sucks,” she wrote. “My husband does not.”

The 29-year-old actress and her 27-year-old husband will celebrate their first anniversary on New Year’s Eve.
