The holiday season is coming to life in Downtown Collingwood!
Get ready for a full day of festive fun on Saturday, November 21, 2026, as the annual Christmas Season Launch and Santa Claus Parade brings holiday magic, twinkling lights and Christmas cheer to the heart of the community!
This year’s parade theme is Vintage Christmas, celebrating the charm and treasured traditions of Christmases past. Gather along Hurontario Street for beautifully illuminated floats, festive performances, holiday music and creative displays inspired by classic Christmas memories. And, of course, keep an eye out for a special appearance by Santa Claus himself!
The festivities kick off earlier in the day with downtown merchant open houses, Christmas carolers, strolling entertainers and family-friendly activities. Explore the decorated shops, soak up the festive atmosphere and get a head start on your holiday shopping!
The Santa Claus Parade begins at 5pm, travelling along Hurontario Street from Hume Street to First Street. Once the parade wraps up, stick around for the traditional lighting of the town Christmas Tree!
Bundle up, bring the whole family and make a day of it in Downtown Collingwood as the community comes together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!
