The Collingwood Art Crawl returns September 19-26 both in-person in Collingwood Downtown, and online for the world to share. Spanning eight days – one day for each year of the Collingwood Art Crawl’s history – this year’s event offers ‘crawlers’ the opportunity to curate their own art and music experience amidst virtual studio tours, demonstrations, and concerts, and physically in pop-up galleries in local venues.
An online gallery will introduce crawlers to more than 125 registered artists and musicians with individual profiles featuring artist biographies, images of current works, musical performances, links to social media and online stores, and special Art Crawl video greetings. From here, watch for certain artists to present an ‘unmissable’, a 20-30 minute virtual offering of their choosing, a series of which will be scheduled for viewing throughout the event. Crawlers can also explore the shops and boutiques of Collingwood Downtown viewing the works of a number of artists in-person, in registered Art Crawl venues. Venues will be following all COVID19 health and safety protocols. The Art Crawl Tour Map will be available online leading up to the event.
