The Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club is delighted to host Run Blue Mountains in partnership with Events For Life and Hope Haven Therapeutic Riding Centre. Event proceeds will directly support each charitable organization’s programming needs. Events For Life enriches the lives of individuals with special needs by providing educational, social and recreational day programs geared towards lifelong learning. Hope Haven Therapeutic Riding Centre connects horses and individuals with challenges to learn the skills of equestrian and horsemanship positively influencing their physical, cognitive and social well-being.
Choose a 1K walk/run, 5K, 10K or the challenging 21K half marathon through the vibrant villages of Thornbury, Clarksburg and the beautiful Beaver Valley. This community event will feature a family fun tailgate party with fabulous eats including pancakes, sausages, burgers, tacos and vegan fare. Come and meet Fred, the wonderful Norwegian Fjord horse ambassador of Hope Haven. Kids of all ages can enjoy awesome activities with AXED Throwing. Run to save the date in your calendar today!
