Often decorated by local artists, our Street Piano Project is intended to challenge the prohibition of playing music in public places without special arrangement. It prompts members of the public to use the piano, regardless of skill and popularity.
If there is no one performing at a piano as you pass by, you are invited to ‘play me’! Just sit down at any – or all – of the piano locations and play a tune. They are located throughout Collingwood’s historic downtown and will remain there for the month of August.
