This summer, Meaford Hall welcomes one of Canada’s most compelling and creatively fearless bands to the stage. Foxwarren, the acclaimed quintet led by celebrated songwriter Andy Shauf, will perform at Meaford Hall on Sunday, July 5, 2026, for a rare and intimate concert experience. The evening begins with special guest Hudson Freeman at 7:30 PM, followed by Foxwarren at 8:30 PM.
Comprised of Andy Shauf, Avery Kissick, Darryl Kissick, Dallas Bryson, and Colin Nealis, Foxwarren is built on more than two decades of friendship and musical collaboration. Together, the band creates music that feels deeply personal yet sonically adventurous – blending folk roots with textured experimentation, layered melodies, and emotionally rich storytelling.
Following the success of their critically acclaimed 2018 debut album, Foxwarren reinvented their creative process, embracing samplers, tape loops, and collage inspired recording techniques to reshape their sound in unexpected ways. The result is immersive, cinematic music that drifts between warmth and mystery, inviting listeners into a world that is both nostalgic and entirely new.
While Andy Shauf has earned international recognition for his solo work and masterful song writing, Foxwarren offers audiences something altogether different: a collaborative project driven by spontaneity, curiosity, and artistic freedom. Their live performances are captivating and atmospheric, balancing quiet intimacy with moments of striking emotional intensity.
If your playlist includes Bahamas, Wilco, or other genre bending indie folk artists, Foxwarren is a band you need to experience live. Andy Shauf and Foxwarren deliver the same warmth, depth, and musical craftsmanship that fans of those artists have come to love – while creating a sound entirely their own.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of Meaford Hall’s historic theatre, this special one night only performance promises an unforgettable evening for music lovers and fans of innovative Canadian artistry alike.
