The Georgian Bay Garden Tour is supported by a volunteer group that partners with our area’s gardeners, business sponsors and artisans to raise funds for local community support organizations, to learn from each other and to celebrate the horticultural wealth of our region.
This year’s tour, on Saturday, July 11 2020, features many different styles of gardens that demonstrate the theme “real gardens created by real people” – rambling rural properties, contemporary urban courtyards, woodland shade gardens – all offered by owner/gardeners who generously open their properties to the public.
Over its 26 year history the Georgian Bay Garden Tour, held in the communities of Midland Penetanguishene, Tiny and Tay has raised funds through ticket sales for the libraries in Midland and Penetanguishene, The Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre, Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe and most recently Hospice Huronia.
