Celebrate 10 years of collective giving as women hear three charities, vote to award $20,000+, and announce $10,000 for Wasaga Beach.
Join 100+ Women Who Care South Georgian Triangle as we launch our 10th anniversary year of giving and begin another season of collective local impact.
At this special September meeting, members will hear brief presentations from three member-nominated local charities, then vote to select one to receive an expected collective donation of more than $20,000.
We will also announce the charities serving Wasaga Beach that will share $10,000 from the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign. The campaign raised $17,712.38 through participating Wasaga Beach Tim Hortons restaurants and the generosity of cookie buyers, volunteers, members, and community supporters.
For nearly 10 years, women across South Georgian Bay have come together around a simple idea: when individual contributions are combined, they can make a significant difference. Current members and women interested in joining are invited to celebrate what this community has made possible and see collective giving in action.
