Come and join Ontario Barn Preservation for an Ontario Barn Preservation Barn Tour on October 18th in Bruce County.
The farm is owned by OBP member Paisley Johnson who is only the 2nd owner since 1856. There are two large 19th century barns forming an “L” which we will be viewing along with commentary by OBP Vice Pres Jim Campbell.
There are three other interesting buildings, an old workshop with many hand–made tools, a brick building that was moved there to store apples for the commercial operation there and a 19th century sawmill. There are plaques explaining equipment and buildings.
