Corus Feeds Kids is our corporate philanthropic initiative. Launched in 2012, the national program is dedicated to nourishing the bodies and minds of Canadian children, supporting their healthy development and long-term success. We set a goal to raise $6 million in three years and contribute 3,000 employee hours and we are pleased to report that we have exceeded our target through the generous support of our listeners, viewers and local and national partners.
Each spring we focus our efforts on a campaign that culminates on Corus Feeds Kids Day, a day dedicated to raising funds for our local food bank partners across Canada. Using the megaphone of our national TV brands, radio services and online assets, we raise awareness and drive our viewers and listeners to donate to their local food banks, and help alleviate childhood hunger in Canada.
