2018 Gathering of the Classics

It will soon host the annual gathering of the classics – Canada’s largest classic wings and wheels event. There will be 200 classic aircraft there, including a Second World War B-25 bomber, some Harvards, and the Cornell Bryan and I used to “play in the clouds.”

This annual gathering is not only spectacular to see, but it really reflects the spirit of the Edenvale Classic Aircraft Foundation. It’s hands-on. There will be opportunities to fly in some Second World War aircraft, including a bomber and the Tiger Moth. There will also be hundreds of classic cars lined up on the grass between runways. The event takes place Aug. 6, (with a rain date on Aug. 7) and the cost is $10 for adults and $5 for youth aged 10-17. Kids 9 and under are free. Events run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you get a chance to check out the view at Edenvale, you should do it. In the meantime, enjoy your own privileged view, and find a cloud to play in.
